Pooja Sharma

Coordinator

Pooja Sharma holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Delhi University and previously interned in the accounts and operations department at Rise India Logistics Pvt Ltd. However, growing up in Haryana, where gender roles have traditionally been rigid, she became deeply aware of the challenges women face. This sparked her interest in social issues and led her to pursue a master’s degree in sociology. Now, she plans to further her studies with a Ph.D., focusing on gender and social change.

During college, Pooja was an active member of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and organised youth parliaments, debates, and community programs. These experiences helped her develop strong coordination skills and a passion for meaningful conversations on social issues.

At Faith Futures Collective, Pooja manages coordination across different initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration between contributors. She also supports research efforts, working to highlight stories that challenge traditional ideas about gender and religion. With a keen eye for organisation and a strong commitment to social change, she helps create a space where diverse voices can be heard and valued.
