Our Futures – Vision and Mission

Vision
We envision a transformed South Asia where women’s voices, especially those from non-dominant communities, reshape the religious narrative landscape and redefine peacebuilding. By centering women’s interpretations, wisdom, and leadership in religious traditions, we aim to dismantle patriarchal religious structures and create new pathways for gender justice.
Our work cultivates a rich narrative ecosystem where diverse women’s perspectives flourish within religious discourse, challenging historical exclusion. Through this inclusive approach, we’re building foundations for lasting peace grounded in gender equality and social justice across the region.

Reclaiming women’s voices in religion is not just about rewriting stories, it’s about reshaping the entire narrative ecosystem.
Our Mission
Faith Futures Collective’s mission is to transform religious narratives by amplifying women’s voices in faith discourse and peacebuilding processes.
We work to document diverse women’s experiences with religion, support women as authentic interpreters of religious texts, and build collaborative networks across religions.
Through these efforts, we cultivate narrative power that enables women and non-dominant groups to reshape religious and societal conversations, ultimately creating more inclusive and just faith communities.
Shifting the Narrative Ecosystem
Faith Futures Collective isn’t just about sharing individual stories, it’s about changing the entire narrative ecosystem of how we talk and think about women in religious spheres. This shift in narrative power can lead to real-world changes. As new stories take hold, they can influence policies, practices, and cultural norms.
