Highlights:Dr. Pallabi Barah is currently working as a Policy Researcher in Delhi. She completed her PhD from the Centre for the study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her PhD thesis titled ‘Constructions of Social Memory in Assam and Manipur.’ She did her M Phil. from the same institute. She pursued M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Delhi. She has also taught Political Science at various colleges under the University of Delhi. Her research interests include gender studies, memory studies, Northeast India, and governance. A passionate reader, Dr. Barah is always inspired by powerful and thought-provoking narratives. She has presented her work at many national and international platforms and has published widely in academic journals, including SCOPUS and UGC CARE-listed ones, as well as in edited volumes. When she's not working on academic projects, she enjoys cooking and spending time in quiet corners- where ideas often take shape.
