Ankita holds Master’s degrees in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies and Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Currently, she serves as the Program Manager at the Nepal Peace Building Initiative (NPI), where she leads initiatives focused on human rights and community development. As a gender expert with deep expertise in policy advocacy, research, and project management, Ankita has also been recognised with the NOMA scholarship and contributed to influential publications on gender-based violence and security. Her work continues to make a meaningful impact in advancing gender equality, strengthening human rights protections, and building resilient communities.
